Vintage Swarovski silver crystal clasp

Plucked from its original DS & Company Swarovski package, these pieces are from the 1970s or 80s. The creation of the glamorous Aurora Borealis crystal effect was invented in 1956 in cooperation with Christian Dior. These elegant square crystals are bezel set in a hand made sterling silver box clasp. The clasps are made by some of the finest silversmiths in the world who work deep in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. The shine on these pieces is on the inside. It catches the light as it moves and glows a bit pink and sometimes a bit green. This clasp is NOT actually as blue as it appears in the photos. It is more clear than blue. The clasp is 25 mm from ring to ring and 15 mm wide. It is 8 mm high.
