Sojourner is celebrated for its eclectic selection of beads from all over the world. The collection is constantly evolving and changing. We try to have as much of the stash in our on-line store as possible, but it is always worth a trip to come see us because we have twice as much in our bricks and mortar store. If you come see us you are welcome to sit at our all our welcome Bead Table where you can lay out your project to make at the store or take home to the comfort of your lair. We don’t offer classes, but our knowledgeable staff is always happy to help you work through a solution to your beading questions.
We stock an extensive selection of pearls, semi-precious stones, Czech glass beads, vintage glass cabochons, and Venetian beads. If you need a unique clasp, we have the happy ending to your jewelry story in the form of gold filled and gold plated clasps, and sterling silver clasps including our exclusive line of hand-made sterling silver box clasps. We have gold-filled and gold plated findings, sterling silver findings, and surgical steel findings. We stock a full-line of carded Griffen silk and nylon as well as Softouch, Econoflex, and elastic.
Sometimes it is just hard to get out of the house. If you don’t see what you are looking for on our website, please call the store and make arrangements for a video call or to have photos texted to you. We are happy to help you get the beads you need!
We also have some lovely Italian scissors that are perfect for cutting textiles or paper or using for a beading project. We also stock a small line of other beading tools including German-made round nose pliers.
