Two-ring German mosaic clasp

A wonderful milleflori piece from West Germany is the centerpiece for this colorful clasp. The background is black enlivened with chevron canes. Each clasp is a little different because no two of the glass centerpieces were alike. But I did pick through them and choose all nice cabochons, so there are no bad pieces. The packet the cabochons came out of was stamped "U.S. Zone Germany" so that dates the pieces at just after WWII. The centerpiece is 20 x 26 mm and the clasp is 35 mm from ring to ring. The centerpiece is set in a hand-made sterling silver box clasp.
