Sapphire blue hexagon drop bead

These hand-wound glass beads were created in India in the mid 1990s. They are rustic and charming. The sapphire blue is deep and dark. So dark that the beads are barely translucent. The faceting on the beads occurs in two places. They are faceted at the base rather than rounded. The beads are 20 mm from top to bottom. They are 14 mm wide at the bottom and 10 mm wide at the top.
