Gold sphinx Swarovski square clasp

This vintage Swarovski piece is a marvel of he Swarovski method. The green is dark around the edges but lighter in the center. As you move the clasp from side to side you see flashes of blue and purple that disappear into the green. As mysterious as its namesake, the gold sphinx has many colors. These centerpieces came to me in their original packaging. They were labeled article 4650 from DS & Co. This is the flat topped rivoli window. In this case, we have set the piece so that the point is up.  Each vintage centerpiece is bezel set in a hand-made sterling silver box clasp.The clasp is 13 mm high, 35 mm from ring to ring and 19 mm wide.
