Glass malachite clasp

This old piece of German glass looks just like malachite. It provides a low-cost glass alternative to a more expensive stone problem. The German glass masters in the 1930s were geniuses at making glass look like stone. The centerpiece is 14 mm wide. The piece is set in a sterling silver box clasp. The clasp is 23 mm from tip to tip.
