Blue whorl clasp

Delicate blue transparent glass is the centerpiece of this clasp. These lovely pieces came out of a package marked Made in Occupied Japan. The darker blue thread seems to swirl around and disappear into the center of the clasp. The cabochon is 15 mm in circumference. The clasp is 24 mm from ring to ring. The centerpiece is set in a hand-made sterling silver box clasp.
